I recently received a few requests to put together a holiday gift guide with my favorite fitness, nutrition, and self-care recommendations. I thought this was a fun idea because I always love getting new ideas myself, so here you go! Below, in no particular order, find a ton of ideas for you to buy for your loved ones (or yourself?!) this season.
2018 Legit Fit Holiday Gift Guide
Audible membership – if you or someone you know loves to read but doesn’t really have time to sit down with a book, this audio book membership is for them! A great choice for someone with a long commute or who loves to go for long walks. Or, for someone who doesn’t need the audio book membership, but you just want some book ideas: check out You Are a Badass by Jen Sincero, Girl Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis, or Braving the Wilderness by Brene Brown.
Cookbooks – two of my favorites are the Love and Lemons cookbook and Shalene Flanagan’s Run Fast Eat Slow.
Cozy morning routine and/or self care kit – a journal, a candle, coffee, tea, mug, blanket, cozy socks, etc. I actually think this candle and succulent combo is super cute, and my friend Justine just sent me Gabrielle Bernstein’s The Universe Has Your Back journal. I love it!
Empowered Together Coaching Club membership – this is my online membership group that receives monthly workouts, new recipes, LIVE trainings on wellness related topics, and a new challenge/theme focus every single month. I’m currently running some holiday specials where you can gift a one month, three month, or six month membership at a discounted rate! Email me at info@achievewithathena for more details.
Fit On the Go + Lift On the Go – this is my signature anytime, anywhere workout program designed for time-strapped people of any fitness level. The bundle includes minimal time and minimal equipment workouts that can be done anywhere!
FitRev class passes – for my local peeps anyways! Class memberships are always so appreciated when you have your favorite spot to work out.
Hip circle – I am obsessed with mine. It takes glute activation up a notch for exercises like squats and hip thrusts when I don’t have access to my usual weights. If you aren’t ready for such a heavy duty one, I also love these minibands. The variety pack is key so you can interchange them for upper and lower body exercises or double up if needed.
Instapot or crock pot – for simplifying meal prep. You could also gift my Master Your Meal Prep course and throw some other meal prep essentials into the mix for a full blown theme. Some baking sheets for roasting veggies are always clutch – ours are constantly wearing out!
Iron Gym pull up bar – awesome for someone working on nailing their first pull-up or chin-up
Kettlebell – I love mine from RepFitness, it’s clutch to have at home on days I want to lift something heavy but can’t make it to the gym. RepFitness also has a ton of other fun equipment if you are building up your home gym. Last year Tim bought me the battle ropes and a plyo box as a gift.
Kettlebell Kitchen subscription – this is a healthy meal delivery service that a lot of my clients are swearing by these days!
Massager – something to help with self-myofascial release, like a foam roller or a peanut
Monthly subscription service – if not meals, try another monthly subscription service. They have them for everything these days! I thought this was a great round-up of fitness subscription boxes. Or there’s always wine, coffee, or cookies!
New Balance Heat Loft Funnel – I recently got this from my friends at NB and love it. It’s keeping me warm to and from the gym on these cold Boston mornings before the sun comes up! It’s from the new Heat Loft Collection, which has several heat retaining items for both men and women. This funnel is super cozy, and I think it’s perfect to wear pre and post workout, during an outdoor warmup, or just for cute casual every day wear.
Printed leggings – I think Athleta always has super fun prints!
Race bib and medal holder – how cute is that for a runner in your life?
Salad dressing shaker – we make homemade salad dressing all the time, this would be a great little foodie gift! I think it would be so cute to give this to someone along with vegetable themed kitchen towels.
Tools4Wisdom 2019 planner. I am obsessed with mine! Obsessed. 🙂
Valslides or gliders – these are super portable and the perfect addition to your #FitOnTheGo workout collection. I have the gliders and love them. If you do opt for the gliders, make sure to consider whether you are buying the ones meant for hardwood or the ones meant for carpet use.
Wooden cutting board – don’t skimp if getting someone a nice cutting board. The quality of your board makes a huge difference when it comes to your time in the kitchen. I think customizing them is also such a nice touch.
Also thought I’d include some stocking stuffer favorites:
That’s it! I hope this list helps to inspire some of your holiday shopping this year!
Readers, let’s chat! I’d love to know, what items would you add to my Legit Fit Holiday Gift Guide? Tell me in the comments!
Disclaimer: This is not a sponsored post. I was not paid to write about any of these products. These are all items that I genuinely think would make awesome gifts for those you love, or for yourself. Please note that I did include some of my own programs (because I love my programs!), and there are also some affiliate links included. The affiliate links do not affect purchase price, but they do enable me to earn a small kickback. I also received the New Balance top for free as a local influencer. All opinions, as always, are my own.
