If you keep a diet but it seems like that extra weight is in no hurry to leave or your abs aren’t as defined as you’d like them to be, it’s time to incorporate some simple but effective exercises into your life. You can perform some of them even on your bed or sofa. For example, you can make your TV watching more interesting (and effective!) by sitting on a stability ball. You’ll burn triple the calories – or about 1 piece of toast with butter and jelly.
Next time a friend asks you to help them move, do it! It’ll definitely take more than half an hour, so you’ll burn lots of calories! Labor-intensive housework like shoveling snow and chopping wood get rid of the calorie equivalent of 1 pomegranate. And if you’re one of those living in upper-floor apartments, you have a free gym right under their feet! Take the stairs, and don’t feel guilty about that medium caramel macchiato!
