Why We Go Red | UC San Diego Health

UC San Diego Health illuminated the Sulpizio Cardiovascular Center in La Jolla red during American Heart Month in February 2020. We do it to raise awareness of heart disease and stroke, and improve women’s health in our communities.

“We’re making a difference! A big thank you to everyone who helped us kick off American Heart Month. We’re proud to be a longtime participant in this national movement to end heart disease and stroke in women. Wishing everyone a strong and healthy heart,” said Patty Maysent, CEO.

Help us prevent heart disease and stroke, and improve women’s health. To learn more about our women’s cardiovascular health program, visit https://health.ucsd.edu/specialties/cardiovascular/programs/disease-management/womens-health/Pages/default.aspx
