Jamie Oliver is an English celebrity chef, restaurateur and author. He is famous for his television shows and books about food, nutrition and healthy eating.
In 1999, Jamie became a household name in the UK when he presented the television series The Naked Chef on BBC2. Since then he has published over 20 cookbooks which have gained worldwide recognition with more than 11 million copies sold in the UK alone. His books are focused on simple recipes that use fresh ingredients to make nutritious meals that everyone can enjoy.
Jamie also campaigns for better food education as part of his mission to improve people’s health by changing their diet and eating habits. He set up the Jamie Oliver Food Foundation in 2002 which works to teach people how to cook from scratch using quality seasonal ingredients instead of relying on processed foods high in sugar and salt.
